About
The Genesis (2004 - 2006)
In 2004, Keith and Laura Wilson founded "Wilson's Antiquities, LLC," originating within Christopher House Antiques in Birmingham. From a small back room space, they grew to occupy a prominent front window, dealing in traditional antiques and Eastern European Pine. Their affinity for Mission-Style furniture and the Arts and Crafts Movement was evident.
Inspiration and Expansion (2006)
The 2006 National Arts and Crafts Conference sparked a significant expansion. Embracing their inspirations, Wilson's Antiquities began to include Arts and Crafts/Mission Style furniture and accessories, complementing their existing collection.
Establishing Four Seasons (2006)
With business flourishing, Keith and Laura took a bold step. Keith left his job, and they launched Four Seasons Antiques and Art in Bluff Park in June 2006. The initial setup featured a main showroom with diverse furniture styles, a pottery loft, a gallery for paintings, and space for antique dealers.
Growth and Relocation (2008)
Experiencing rapid growth and establishing a dedicated customer base, the Wilsons relocated to a new shop in Homewood on April 1st, 2008. Here, Four Seasons Antiques and Art continued to thrive under the slogan “Purveyors of Extraordinary Things.”
A Legacy Continues
Their journey from a small dealer space to a renowned establishment is a testament to their passion and dedication to the world of antiques and art. The rest, as they say, is history in the making.
