Kasi Reilly's journey through the art world is far from ordinary. It began in a childhood bedroom, not with store-bought posters or typical wall decals, but with a gallery of her own making—walls adorned with vibrant primary colors, a testament to her early fascination with art. This wasn't just a phase or a fleeting hobby; it was the start of a lifelong commitment, nurtured by supportive parents who recognized her potential and encouraged it with art lessons and camps. The narrative of Kasi's current work unfolds from an unlikely source—a hefty coffee table book on Frida Kahlo, a Christmas gift that became a wellspring of inspiration. Music, too, plays a pivotal role in her creative process, acting as both a muse and a collaborator in the act of creation. While her work nods to the legacies of Kahlo, O'Keeffe, and Klimt, Kasi's voice remains distinct, weaving her influences with personal insights to create something entirely her own.

Meet Spencer Till, the artist behind some of the most breathtaking art in the Gallery. Each of his driftwood fish are made from "driftwood which has made its way down miles of river networks in the Sipsey wilderness of North Alabama which culminate in Lewis Smith Lake." Known as one of the deepest, most pristine lakes in the country, this lake brings forward absolutely gorgeous driftwood. The wood is mostly collected from Rock Creek, the centermost "finger" of the Smith Lake, before being dried and stored until it is ready to be crafted into a fish.

Here in Homewood, Alabama we just completed our annual Sidewalk Sale. Whew what a day. We bring this to you every summer in July so we can make room for all the new, exciting and extraordinary products that have started arriving for fall and Christmas. We are happy to bring you the Surprise release of two new Spirit Tiles from Houston Llew. Here is a testament from Houston: A Brand New Addition to the Llew Family! Three years ago, I was scared and overjoyed to welcome my first child into the world. He took life by the wing and pulled my wife and me into a new world, making the face of our days completely new. When we learned we would welcome another child this year, my oldest became so excited to have a friend like him join our family. Along the way, one day I was designing new Spiritiles in my workshop when my son wandered in to see what I was doing. He saw the elephants Spiritile design, loved it (he loves animals!), and asked if he could give it to his soon-to-be-born baby brother. “Of course,” I said. “In fact, you can give him this very first one.” It was his turn to be overjoyed. When the time came for my second son to be born, I wasn’t nearly as scared. My oldest was testament that I could keep a child alive, love them, and teach them to love in return. It is with this feeling of fulfillment and unwavering joy that I release these two Spiritiles as a humble gift - the first from me, the second from my oldest - to the newest love of my life. My son, thanks to you, your mother, and your new best friend of a big brother, my life is made complete. – Houston There will be 4 more summer releases in August so stay tuned.
